We run beginners courses in the spring each year, and again in the autumn if there is sufficient demand. During the two Saturday sessions all equipment is provided, insurance included and you will receive instruction from our GNAS qualified coaches, along with all candidates receiving a Beginners Manual which covers most of the basics and etiquette. Course costs £80, please note although we consider children of at least 10 years of age all young persons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
The main purpose of the course is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment where we can get you shooting safely with a reasonable technique and to participate safely with minimal supervision when you join. The course also covers etiquette, equipment selection, other forms of archery, handicaps and classification and scoring.
Fox Archers reserve the right to decline membership where the coaching team consider these basic requirements are not being met.
